In the easyauth.ch user documentation you will find all the necessary information on using code cards to access your Microsoft account. The user documentation includes the following topics:

Note: If you have any problems with the login process, please see section `Troubleshooting` or contact your IT administrator.
Login to Outlook
Note: when testing, use an incognito browser if you have other accounts. You may also need to log out of your other accounts.
Open https://outlook.office365.com.
Or other Microsoft applications:
Step 1: Enter your email
Step 2: Enter your password
Step 3: Approve authentication using the code card
Step 4: Enter the code from your code card
Choose from the card:
You can persist the authentication if required.
Troubleshooting
I entered an incorrect code 3 times
When you enter an incorrect code three times, you must wait one minute or more before you can attempt to complete the authentication. You do not need to refresh the page.
I lost my code card / My code card was stolen
Please contact your school IT administrator to ask for a new code card. When a new code card is generated, any old ones are automatically invalidated.
I have no code card
Please contact your school IT administrator to ask for a code card.
My code card has expired
Please contact your school IT administrator to ask for a new code card.
